I have my phone with Telstra and my? internet with TPG (because Telstra internet is an expensive pile of crap) - and the Mumbai call centre person who clearly didn't have a clue what I was saying kept telling me to unplug my fax machine (despite telling him over and over I haven't got a fax!!!) Oh for the day someone brings me an axe... :P I had the same problem.
